heres info on my computers for anyone interested:

unnamed (background-downloader): a laptop purchased in 2019/2020 that has seen better days , i used to be really reckless with my technology and this thing somehow survived it . it formerly ran Arch Linux with KDE Plasma as the desktop , with a few programs running in the background so it didnt hog up latte , the listenthrough of 210 by Bull of Heaven being one of those . its role has now been replaced by latte , which was replaced by serval in combination with latte .
*i exclusively use laptops because they use less power than desktops (and also because they dont immediately die if the power goes out)

latte (latitude-5300 / latte): a refurbished dell latitude 5300 gifted to me by a charity organization in August 2023 that has major cooling issues . it is currently used secondarily to serval as a server to run a modded minecraft server . it was formerly used as a server for everything after replacing unnamed . it is currently running Arch Linux with KDE Plasma .

blueberry (N/A): a 2022 M2 macbook air bought in January 2025 so i could use a laptop at school . i couldnt use any of my other ones for that because unnamed is slow and falling apart , and latte has a very low battery life (plus the overheating thing) . it is running Asahi Fedora Remix with GNOME as the desktop enviroment . the only reason why i dont use this one as my server is because alot of programs that work on latte/serval dont work on blueberry because of the cpu architecture being aarch64 as opposed to latte/serval's x64 , and also external displays being currently unsupported . it was named blueberry to fit with the naming scheme of latte, and due to its colouration . currently it isnt used as a school laptop anymore due to me being terrified to carry it around on account of its fragility , that role has been taken up by The Beast . it is instead used for recording stuff due to the fact that encoding video in real time is too straining for any of my other devices .

sora (N/A): a mid-2007 imac formerly belonging to my brother that was rediscovered in June 2025 in the storage area of my house with a comedically thick dust layer on it . it is currently running macos 10.9 despite the fact it could be upgraded to 10.11 because i like 10.9's UI better . also yes i named it after the SSEC/SSED character if anyone gets that reference .

serval (serval): a 2019 macbook pro thats notable for being the second last (and best , although mine doesnt have the best specs of that model) intel macbook apple ever made . it is currently being used as a server for running a few programs i need constantly running due to it having an x64 cpu and being fast , and it is running T2 Arch Linux with KDE Plasma .

The Beast (N/A): a lenovo g550 from 2009 i got for 30 AUD (70 AUD including shipping) on ebay . it is currently used as my primary workstation for my creative endeavours , which i should really focus more of my time into , and as a school laptop due to me being terrified to carry around blueberry because of its fragility . it is running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 , which i have somehow managed to get all of the programs i need for my creative stuff & schoolwork running on . it is slow , yet reliable .

i also had a desktop my brother built for me in january of 2018 that i originally
ran whatpulse on when i first made this account . i dont have anything else to say about it really as i dont own it anymore sadly . funnily enough he built it for me on the promise i would switch to chrome from firefox , which i ended up not following through with years down the line due to google deciding to axe manifest V2 .
