WhatPulse Leagues
Every Monday, WhatPulse places you in a league of similarly active users and gives you a clear goal: climb, hold, or fight your way back.
Compete on Pulse Score
One simple metric decides your week. Every key you press is worth 1 point, every click 3.
Only keys and clicks count. Uptime, bandwidth, scrolls, and mouse distance are left out to keep the score simple and hard to inflate.
A Gold League group mid-week. Finish in the promotion zone and you start next Monday a division higher.
Eight divisions to climb
Everyone starts in Bronze and earns their way up. Each week, the top of every group is promoted to the next division.
A new week, every week
Monday: fresh start
New groups are drawn, promotions and relegations are settled, and every score resets to zero.
Friday: final sprint
Exact scores are hidden while positions stay visible, building suspense into the weekend.
Sunday: the finish
Collection stops, final rankings lock in, and results land in your inbox on Monday.
Promotion and relegation
Climb
Finish near the top of your group of roughly 50 and you are promoted to the next division for the coming week.
Hold your ground
Finish near the bottom and you drop a division. Bronze has no relegation, and Legend is the prestige division at the very top.
How your score updates
Despite the name, your Pulse Score is not based on pulses. It is built from the hourly stats the WhatPulse app records, the same data that powers your overview and productivity dashboards. Scores refresh once an hour, and your league page shows a countdown to the next update. Because only the keys and clicks from each hour of the week count, pulsing a large backlog of stats will not cause a sudden jump in your league score.
Common questions
Who takes part?
Everyone with a full public profile joins automatically. Keep pulsing during the week and you are placed in a group on Monday. There is nothing to sign up for.
Is it free?
Yes. Leagues are available to every WhatPulse account, free and Premium alike.
What do other people see?
Your group sees your username, division, rank, and weekly Pulse Score. Leagues never expose which applications or websites you use.
Can I leave?
Yes. Use the "Leave the leagues" option on your league page to step out at any time, and manage league emails from your notification settings.
Ready to climb?
Keep pulsing this week to join the next round. A full public profile is all you need to take part.
