Send Your First Pulse
A Pulse is the action of transferring your statistics from the WhatPulse client to the WhatPulse servers. The WhatPulse client which runs on your system, collects statistics, such as keys, clicks, uptime, network traffic, and so on. After collecting those statistics, the WhatPulse client sends those statistics to the WhatPulse server.
A Pulse is used to prevent unnecessary communications to the servers and to preserve your bandwidth. As a user, you can control the pulsing frequency. You can manually pulse using the Pulse button from the Overview tab, or use the Pulse option in the tray icon menu.
You can also configure the client to automatically pulse whenever you'd like. Learn more about automatic pulsing here.
