ZAO ASCON (ASCON)
ASCON (often styled ZAO ASCON) is a Russian engineering software vendor founded in 1989 and headquartered in Saint Petersburg. The company is best known for its KOMPAS family of CAD products (KOMPAS-3D for parametric 3D modeling and KOMPAS-Graphic for 2D drafting) targeted primarily at mechanical engineering, manufacturing and construction customers in Russia and the CIS. Over the decades ASCON has developed a strong local presence by delivering desktop, cloud and PDM/PLM-integrated solutions adapted to regional customer needs and standards.
