xEdit (author: Tannin)
xEdit is a family of community-developed, Windows-based tools for inspecting, editing, and cleaning plugin (ESP/ESM) files for Bethesda games. The suite includes game-specific builds (for example TES5Edit, FO3Edit, FO4Edit, SSEEdit, and FNVEdit — fnvedit.exe is the Fallout: New Vegas build) that provide a unified GUI and scripting-capable backend for viewing records, resolving conflicts, and producing cleaned/optimized plugins. The tools are primarily developed and maintained by the author known as "Tannin" together with community contributors and users from the modding scene.
