The Qt Company
The Qt Company (originating as Trolltech) is the principal commercial steward of the Qt application and UI framework, a widely used cross-platform toolkit for building native applications and embedded systems. Qt began as Trolltech (a Norwegian company founded in the 1990s) and later passed through ownership and stewardship by Nokia and Digia; today The Qt Company develops, packages, and sells commercial licenses, enterprise support, and development tools around the Qt framework while also coordinating with the upstream open-source Qt Project. Their product portfolio includes the Qt framework (C++ and QML), Qt Creator IDE, tooling for embedded and device creation, and additional modules for networking, multimedia, and graphics.
