Saber Interactive
Saber Interactive is an American video game developer and technology company known for both original games and third-party development/porting work. Founded in 2001, Saber grew from a small development studio into a multi-studio developer that works on a wide range of projects, from independent titles to large-scale AAA ports and co-development. They are the developer of Spintires: MudRunner (commonly referred to as MudRunner) and its successor SnowRunner, and have been involved in other notable projects and collaborations across PC and console platforms.
In addition to game development, Saber provides co-development, porting, and engineering services for other publishers and studios. The company expanded internationally with multiple studios and was acquired by Embracer Group in 2020, which further integrated Saber into a larger family of development teams. Saber continues to support and update its titles, work on new projects, and provide development services across the industry.
