Rockstar North Limited (Rockstar Games)

Rockstar North Limited is a British video game developer based in Edinburgh (originally Dundee), best known as the primary studio behind the Grand Theft Auto series. The studio began life as DMA Design in the late 1980s and gained prominence for early titles before becoming part of the Rockstar Games family after Take-Two Interactive acquired the company. Under the Rockstar banner, Rockstar North has led development on some of the most commercially successful and influential open-world action-adventure games, including Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, San Andreas (gtasa.exe), GTA IV, and GTA V.
