Ubisoft Reflections (formerly Reflections Interactive)
Reflections began as an independent British game development studio best known for the Driver series and other vehicle-focused titles. Originally operating under the name Reflections Interactive, the studio built a reputation in the 1990s and 2000s for driving and destruction-based games such as Destruction Derby and the Driver franchise; Driver: Parallel Lines (driverparallellines.exe) is one of its well-known releases. The team is historically based in Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom.
In 2006 Reflections was acquired by Ubisoft and now operates as Ubisoft Reflections, contributing to AAA projects across Ubisoft’s portfolio while continuing to develop its own IP and technology around open-world driving experiences. The studio combines narrative-driven design and vehicle physics expertise and often collaborates with other Ubisoft teams on large-scale franchises while maintaining a focus on vehicle simulation, world-building, and technical R&D.
