pyLoad is an open-source, lightweight download manager written in Python. It was designed to handle downloads from one-click hosting sites, file hosts and generic URLs, providing features such as account handling for premium hosts, Captcha recognition support, plugin-based host and service integration, archive extraction, bandwidth control, queuing and scheduling, and both a web UI and CLI for remote or headless operation. pyLoad is valued for its low resource usage and ability to run on small systems (for example NAS devices or Raspberry Pi).

The project dates back to the early 2010s and has been community-driven, with development and maintenance hosted on GitHub.
