SeaMonkey Project / Mozilla Foundation
The SeaMonkey Project is a community-driven open-source project that continues the legacy of the original Mozilla Application Suite — an integrated internet suite that bundled a web browser, email client, HTML editor (Composer), IRC chat client and web development tools. After Mozilla Corporation and the wider Mozilla community shifted focus toward standalone products (notably Firefox and Thunderbird), SeaMonkey was forked and maintained by volunteers to preserve and evolve the all-in-one suite model. The project provides the SeaMonkey Suite (browser, mail & news, Composer HTML editor, and other components) and coordinates releases, testing and community support.
