Microsoft Corporation (Sysinternals)
Sysinternals is a collection of advanced system utilities and technical resources for Windows originally created and maintained by Mark Russinovich and Bryce Cogswell. The Sysinternals web site and toolset grew in popularity among system administrators, security professionals, and developers for deep system troubleshooting, process and file monitoring, autorun management, and low-level Windows internals diagnostics.
Microsoft acquired Sysinternals in 2006 and the tools are now hosted and maintained by Microsoft as the Windows Sysinternals suite (Process Explorer, Autoruns, Process Monitor, PsTools, ProcDump, BgInfo, and many others). The utilities are generally distributed for free; Microsoft has also published some related source code and projects through its GitHub organization and continues to update and document the tools on its Learn/Docs site.
