Livermore Software Technology Corporation (LSTC) is the developer and original commercial steward of the LS-DYNA explicit finite element software and associated pre-/post-processing tools (notably LS-PrePost). LS-DYNA was originated from research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and LSTC commercialized and maintained the codebase for use in industry and research. The company's products focus on high-fidelity simulation of non-linear, transient dynamic events such as crashworthiness, impact, blast, metal forming, and other problems requiring explicit dynamics and advanced contact, material, and failure models.
