LabTech Software (acquired by ConnectWise)
LabTech Software was a vendor of remote monitoring and management (RMM) and IT automation software, best known for the LabTech RMM platform and agent utilities such as the LabTech Tray. Its products provided remote monitoring, patch management, scripting/automation, IT asset discovery, and endpoint management aimed primarily at managed service providers (MSPs) and IT administrators.
In 2015 LabTech was acquired by ConnectWise, and the LabTech product line was subsequently rebranded and integrated into ConnectWise’s product family as ConnectWise Automate. Today the technology and capabilities originally developed by LabTech continue under the ConnectWise Automate name and are marketed as part of ConnectWise’s suite of IT management and business automation solutions for MSPs.
