Digital Illusions CE AB, commonly known as DICE or EA DICE, is a Swedish video game developer founded in 1992 and headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. The studio is best known for creating the Battlefield franchise and other high-profile titles such as Mirror's Edge and the Star Wars Battlefront games. DICE has historically focused on large-scale multiplayer shooters and technically ambitious single-player experiences, building a reputation for strong audiovisual presentation and large, dynamic multiplayer maps.
