Digital Illusions CE (DICE) — an Electronic Arts studio

Digital Illusions CE (commonly known as DICE) is a Swedish video game developer founded in the early 1990s and best known as the creator of the Battlefield franchise. Headquartered in Stockholm, DICE develops large-scale multiplayer first-person shooters and has produced notable titles such as the Battlefield series and Mirror's Edge. DICE is also the original developer of the Frostbite game engine, which has been adopted across many Electronic Arts (EA) studios for high-fidelity graphics and large-scale multiplayer systems.

DICE was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2006 and now operates as an EA studio, collaborating with other EA teams and contributing engine and multiplayer expertise across EA’s portfolio.
