Delcam (now part of Autodesk)
Delcam was a UK-based developer of CAD/CAM software best known for production machining and tooling products such as PowerMILL, FeatureCAM and ArtCAM. The company grew into a global supplier of specialist CAM systems used in aerospace, automotive, mould & die, jewellery and general manufacturing, providing high-speed and multi-axis toolpath generation, feature recognition and automation tools for CNC machining.
Delcam was founded in the 1970s and over decades built a strong reputation in the CAM market. In 2014 Delcam was acquired by Autodesk and many of its products and technologies have since been integrated into Autodesk's manufacturing and CAM product lines (PowerMill and FeatureCAM remain recognized product names within Autodesk’s CAM offerings; ArtCAM was discontinued by Autodesk in later years).
