Comodo

Comodo is a cybersecurity company (often referred to as Comodo Group or Comodo Cybersecurity) best known for consumer and enterprise security products such as Comodo Internet Security, firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection, and a suite of management tools. The company was founded in the late 1990s by Melih Abdulhayoglu and grew by offering consumer-facing security software (antivirus, personal firewall, secure browsers like Comodo Dragon/Chromodo) as well as business security solutions and management consoles.

Historically Comodo also operated a certificate authority business; that business was reorganized and the CA arm rebranded to Sectigo in 2018 after a change in ownership, while the Comodo brand continued to focus on endpoint security, managed detection and response, vulnerability scanning, and other cybersecurity services.
