Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) project

It exposes a C/C++ API (with numerous language bindings provided by the community) that wraps Chromium’s content API so developers can render web content, run JavaScript, and interact between native code and web pages inside desktop applications. CEF is distributed as a set of libraries and example apps (cefclient/cefsimple/cefview) and includes subprocesses such as cefsubprocess.exe used at runtime.
CEF began as a community-driven wrapper around the Chromium engine to make embedding Chromium practical for application developers. It is not a commercial vendor but a project maintained by volunteers and contributors; project resources, downloads, and documentation are hosted on the project’s pages (historically on Bitbucket and mirrored to GitHub).
