Capcom U.S.A., Inc. is the North American subsidiary of Capcom Co., Ltd., a major Japanese video game developer and publisher founded in 1979 by Kenzo Tsujimoto and headquartered in Osaka, Japan. Capcom is best known for long-running franchises and IP such as Street Fighter, Resident Evil (Biohazard), Mega Man, Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, Ace Attorney and others; the company began with arcade and coin-op titles and later expanded into home consoles, PC and digital distribution worldwide.

The U.S. subsidiary handles publishing, marketing, distribution and customer support for Capcom's titles in the Americas and works closely with internal development studios and external partners to localize and release games (examples: Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 4, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Street Fighter V). Capcom also participates in events, esports, and community programs to support its major franchises and maintain player engagement.
