What are WhatPulse Leagues?

WhatPulse Leagues turn your keyboard and mouse activity into a fresh competition every week. Instead of comparing yourself with the entire global leaderboard, you compete in a temporary group of roughly 50 people in your division.

Every round gives you a clear goal: climb into the promotion zone, hold your place, or move out of the relegation zone before the week ends.

How you join a league

You do not need to register for Leagues. WhatPulse automatically places you in the next weekly round when:

  • Your WhatPulse profile is public.
  • You are included in the public rankings.
  • Your account is not suspended.
  • You have not chosen to leave Leagues.
  • You earned a non-zero Pulse Score during the previous week.

New competitors start in Bronze League. Returning competitors continue in the division they previously earned.

If you are eligible but were not active during the previous week, you simply sit out the current round. Your division is saved, and you can return in the next round after an active week.

Changing your privacy or ranking settings during a round does not remove you from that round. The new setting is applied when the next round is created. To leave immediately, use the separate Leave the leagues option.

Why the groups change

League groups last for one round only. Every Monday, WhatPulse creates new groups within each division and balances them using recent activity. This gives you new opponents and a clean leaderboard each week.

Your recent activity helps balance the groups; it does not decide your division. Divisions are earned through promotion and relegation.

Why am I not in a league?

Open the Leaderboards page and select Leagues. If a setting is keeping you out, the page explains which one and links to the place where you can fix it.

Common reasons include:

  • Your profile is private.
  • You have turned off Include me in public rankings.
  • Ranking inclusion has been disabled for your account by an administrator.
  • Your account is suspended.
  • You did not earn any Pulse Score during the previous week.

If your profile or ranking status is locked, contact WhatPulse support for help.
