Frotz
Description
Frotz is an open-source Z-machine interpreter used to run interactive fiction (text-adventure) games originally written for Infocom's Z-machine (examples include Zork and other classic text adventures). It implements the Z-machine specification, provides a command-line and/or simple GUI front end depending on the port, and supports saving/restoring game state and standard interpreter features for playing story files (.z1–.z8, .zblorb, etc.).
