Description
Director Player was the runtime/player component associated with Macromedia Director, a multimedia authoring environment used to create interactive content, animations, and CD-ROM/web multimedia applications. The player allowed end users to run Director-created movies and interactive content (often delivered as Shockwave .dcr files) without needing the full authoring tool.
