cd (Change Directory)
Description
cd is the Change Directory command used in command-line shells to change or display the current working directory. On Windows, cd is typically a built-in command of CMD and PowerShell rather than a standalone cd.exe; however, third-party toolkits or ports of Unix utilities for Windows may supply a separate cd.exe implementation.
