Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is a sequel to 2005's Battlefield 2, and the eleventh installment in the Battlefield franchise. The game was released in North America on October 25, 2011, in Europe on October 28, 2011, and in Australia on October 31, 2011.

Battlefield 3 is a first-person shooter that requires players to use teamwork and tactical thinking to prevail. The game includes a mixture of sandbox gameplay, and large scale multiplayer online battles.

The game is based in a near-future setting, with the player taking on the role of a U.S. Marine, Russian soldier, or British Special Forces soldier. The singleplayer campaign is set in the Middle East, and Europe.
