Atom (Beta)
Description
Atom is a free, open-source, hackable text and source code editor built on Electron. It offers features useful for developers such as syntax highlighting, multiple panes, a fuzzy file finder, built-in package manager, extensible packages and themes, and Git integration.
Originally developed by GitHub, Atom was distributed as stable and beta releases; active development was archived by GitHub in late 2022, but the editor and its packages remain available from the project and community forks.
