Adobe Flash Player is a browser plug-in and runtime developed by Adobe Systems for playing multimedia content, rich Internet applications, and streaming audio/video created with the Flash platform (SWF files and ActionScript). It enabled interactive animations, video playback, in-browser games, and other embedded web content, and was also available as a standalone projector runtime.
