MPC-BE Team
MPC-BE (Media Player Classic - Black Edition) is an open-source lightweight media player project for Windows maintained by the MPC-BE Team. It is a fork of the original Media Player Classic and the Black Edition branch, created to provide an enhanced, modernized playback experience while preserving the minimal resource footprint and familiar interface of the original. MPC-BE supports a wide range of audio and video formats through DirectShow, offers built-in subtitle rendering, video and audio filters, hardware acceleration options, and numerous user-configurable playback features.
