CobianSoft (Luis Cobian)
CobianSoft is the informal name used by developer Luis Cobian for a long-running line of Windows backup utilities best known as “Cobian Backup.” Originally created and maintained by Luis Cobian, the Cobian Backup family has been popular for personal and small-business use because it provided a free, feature-rich scheduler and file-backup solution supporting incremental/differential backups, compression, encryption, and network/remote destinations. Over many years the product evolved through multiple versions (Cobian Backup 7, 8, 9, etc.) and spawned newer rewrites such as Cobian Backup 11 "Gravity".
