PortableApps.com is a project and distribution platform (founded by John T. Haller) that packages and distributes portable versions of popular Windows applications which run from USB drives, cloud folders, or local folders without requiring traditional installation. The PortableApps.com Platform, format and installer make it easy to install, update and manage a suite of portable applications; the site hosts hundreds of community- and project-contributed portable builds of browsers, utilities, office suites and developer tools.
