Dennaton Games
Dennaton Games is an independent game development studio best known as the developer of the Hotline Miami series. The studio is a small duo formed by Swedish developer Jonatan "Cactus" Söderström (programming/design) and Dennis Wedin (art/design). They rose to prominence with Hotline Miami (2012), a top-down, fast-paced, neon-soaked action game noted for its brutal gameplay, distinctive pixel-art aesthetic, and acclaimed electronic soundtrack.
Dennaton collaborated with publisher Devolver Digital to release Hotline Miami and its sequel, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number (2015). The studio is associated with experimental, auteur-driven indie design and emerged from the modding/indie scene; their work is often cited for influence on modern indie action design. Dennaton does not maintain a large corporate web presence apart from the official Hotline Miami site and social profiles tied to the game and its community.
