Description
monerod.exe is the reference daemon (background node) for Monero, a privacy-focused cryptocurrency. It runs a full Monero node: syncing and validating the blockchain, relaying and receiving transactions and blocks over the peer-to-peer network, and exposing RPC endpoints for wallet interaction and management.
