Description
GeekTool is a macOS utility that allows users to display customizable content directly on the desktop. It supports three primary 'geeklets' — Shell (output of shell commands), Image (display images from disk or URL), and File (display text file contents) — enabling real-time system stats, logs, reminders, or other dynamic information to be shown on the desktop.
