Description
3DMark06 is a PC benchmarking application released by Futuremark in 2006 that evaluates graphics and CPU performance using a suite of game-like tests. Built around DirectX 9-era rendering features (pixel shaders, dynamic lighting, HDR) and synthetic scenes, it produces comparative scores for GPUs and CPUs and was widely used by reviewers and hardware enthusiasts to assess gaming performance and system stability.
