Windows Sidebar (Gadgets)
Description
Windows Sidebar is a feature introduced in Windows Vista that hosts small, single-purpose mini-applications called gadgets (such as clock, weather, calendar, CPU meter and sticky notes). The Sidebar provided a persistent panel on the desktop where users could place and manage these widgets to surface at-a-glance information and quick controls.
