Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard (VMPK)
Description
Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard (VMPK) is an open-source application that emulates a piano keyboard and sends/receives MIDI messages. It can be used to input notes into MIDI-capable software or to test MIDI setups by acting as a virtual MIDI controller. VMPK supports various MIDI drivers (e.g., ALSA, JACK on Linux; MIDI APIs on Windows/macOS) and allows customization of keyboard size, octave shifting, velocity, and MIDI channel.
