Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider is an action-adventure video game developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix. It was released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows platforms in March 2013. The game's plot follows Lara Croft as she ventures into Siberia in search of the legendary city of Kitezh, whilst also trying to discover the truth about her father's death.

The game is presented in third-person perspective and its gameplay focuses on traversing the environment and completing set objectives. The player collects objects and completes puzzles to progress, and combat is incorporated into the game as a means of defending oneself from enemies. The game features a variety of enemies, including human beings, animals, and supernatural beings. Lara can also swim and climb, and can use a number of weapons to defeat enemies.

The game was met with critical acclaim, with reviewers praising its graphics, gameplay, and story. Tomb Raider sold over one million copies in its first 48 hours of release, and has since sold over 8.5 million copies. A sequel, Rise of the Tomb Raider, was released in November 2015.
