Description
The Steamworks API (commonly called Steam API) is a set of libraries and web interfaces provided by Valve to allow game developers to integrate Steam platform features into their games. It exposes services such as user authentication, achievements, leaderboards, matchmaking, Steam Workshop integration, cloud saves, microtransactions, and the Steam overlay, and is distributed as part of the Steamworks SDK for use during game development and publishing on Steam.
