Saints Row: the Third

In Saints Row: the Third, players take on the role of the leader of the Third Street Saints, who have now become international celebrities. The game opens with the Saints being called to a meeting with the 3rd Street Vice Kings's Moxxi, who reveals that the Saints have been outdone - the purple-clad Phillips Cartel have snatched the four billion dollar prize meant for the winner of the city's upcoming Ultor pageant. In response, the Saints launch a full-scale assault on the Cartel's headquarters, slaughtering everyone inside.

Now the most wanted men (and women) in the city, the Saints must fend off the ultimatum of the Ultor Corporation: relinquish control of the Saints Row district, or be subjected to a military quarantine. With the help of veteran Saint Johnny Gat, the Saints make their way to the fighter jet-filled sandbox of Steelport, and take the fight to the Cartel's leaders.

Along the way, the Saints will face off against a wide variety of enemies, including the Syndicate - a gang of Irish assassins led by the vengeful Killbane, a man who knows the origin of the Saints Row franchise - and the Deckers, a team of cyber-punk hackers who have unleashed a deadly computer virus onto the city.

In Saints Row: The Third, players will explore the city of Steelport, a once thriving metropolis reduced to a shell of its former self, now overrun by gangs, violence and poverty. With that kind of environment, players will have to adapt and scavenge in order to survive. Weapons and vehicles are now customizable and players can equip their characters with all sorts of new gadgets and enhancements, giving them more options than ever to take on the city's criminal element.

Saints Row: The Third also features a revamped and more co-operative multiplayer mode, allowing players to team up with friends and wreak havoc upon the city as they see fit.
