HexChat IRC
Description
HexChat is a IRC client based on XChat which was originally created by Peter Huber. HexChat was started by Rasca in early 2006 as a continuation of the XChat 2.8.9 series. The primary difference between HexChat and XChat is that HexChat is open source software, and licensed under the GNU General Public License.
