Description
HDD Low Level Format Tool is a Windows utility for low-level formatting (zero-filling) and basic repair of storage devices such as hard disk drives and USB flash drives. It overwrites the entire device at the sector level to erase data and attempts to restore or reinitialize devices in cases of logical corruption; note that on modern drives this is effectively a full-sector overwrite rather than a manufacturer low-level format and it may not be appropriate for SSDs or hardware-failed devices.
