BusyBox (multi-call binary)
Description
BusyBox is a compact collection of standard Unix utilities combined into a single executable, commonly called the "multi-call binary." Instead of installing separate programs, BusyBox provides many common command-line tools (ls, cp, sh, mount, etc.) as applets; the same binary behaves differently depending on the invoked name or the applet argument. This makes it ideal for space- and resource-constrained environments such as embedded Linux, initramfs, containers, and recovery images.
