Description
Bumblebee is an open-source Linux project that provides support for NVIDIA Optimus hybrid graphics systems. It runs a daemon and associated tools (commonly optirun or primusrun) that allow users to selectively launch applications on the discrete NVIDIA GPU while keeping the integrated GPU active for normal desktop use, reducing power consumption and heat when the discrete GPU isn't needed.
