Act of War: Direct Action is a real-time strategy (RTS) game released in 2005 that focuses on modern military combat, combining tactical base-building and resource management with story-driven single-player missions and competitive multiplayer. The game was developed by Eugen Systems and published at the time by Atari/Infogrames, and it spawned an expansion titled Act of War: High Treason.
