π New Features
- New setting that allows the client to automatically send bug reports for critical errors. This will help us improve the client and catch bugs better.
π Improvements
- The installer now checks whether npcap should be upgraded. Npcap is used for the network stats.
- The installer now also checks for older WhatPulse clients and asks to uninstall them.
- Another batch of minor tweaks to the client design (it's soooo close!).
π Bug Fixes
- Fix the %InstantKeyRate% and %InstantClickRate% Geek Window variables. These were showing 2x the actual value.

- Add a time selection to the Application Uptime list, allowing you to see application usage in a specific time window.

- Fixed large application uploads, which made it so that your applications didn't show up in pulses. The client uploads new applications in batches.

- Improve network measurements with high speeds. Go from ~80% accuracy at 200Mb/s or more, to ~98% accuracy

π New Features
- A completely different look! This updates overhauls the client interface to a fresh and modern look. Here's a quick summary of the changes:
- Dark Mode! You can choose between Dark and Light Mode in the settings.
- New main navigation at the top of the window.
- New sub-page navigation using tabs, replacing the carousel in 3.6 and below.
- A new installer & update system that works the same on Windows and macOS. (Linux tbd)
- Using the Qt Installer Framework, there's a new program added to the WhatPulse installation directory called WhatPulseMaintenanceTool. We'll use it to install, update, and uninstall the client.
- Update notifications now only happen within the client. You'll see a banner at the top of the window saying there's an update available.
π Bug Fixes
- The client could crash when you're Windows or macOS username has non-unicode characters in it. (i.e. Γ ΓΕΈΓΕ‘)
- An online database restore now downloads to your systems temp directory. This fixes restores when using portable mode.
- Exiting the client sometimes caused a crash on macOS. Not anymore.

- Update npcap to 1.60.
π Notes
- macOS: Please remove your old client manually (/Applications/WhatPulse.app), the new installer puts the client in a new directory called /Applications/WhatPulse/.

- Translations! Starting with Dutch, we now offer the client in multiple languages. You can change the language in the Settings tab. If you would like to translate the client to your own language for your fellow citizens, please contact us at support@whatpulse.org
- Support for Windows 11.
- Support for macOS 12 (Monterey).
- Better looking icon that looks great on both light and dark themes.
- All time selection bars now have an All option to show all your stats.
- Export Wizard: Add a per hour grouping option for input to export data for each hour (except the mouse heat map; the client doesn't keep per hour for the heat map).
π Improvements
- Windows: the icon now automatically adjusts to the selected theme.
- Start online back-ups automatically (in 5 seconds so you have time to abort, if needed)
- Improved opening the browser when logging into the client. Also show the manual link to the login page instantly.
π Bug Fixes
- Add missing Export Wizard menu in some Export menus (mostly on the Network tab).
