That's why I put in the 'Upload database' feature...could you upload yours? I want to check whether the online application IDs get properly recorded.

I have applications double in the list. I think it's because I'm using the latest version now? They're added again?

Figured out why you're not getting through..for some reason the transfer of data is getting corrupted and the website can't process them. All your apps in your local database have no clue what online ID they are. (which are used for pulsing)

I -think- it's because the client sends too many applications at once and I've limited it to 75 apps per time in this build: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7766...tpulse.exe

If you would be so kind as to drop that into your beta directory, overwriting your current client; cool. Apps are sent every 15 minutes so it could take 30 minutes for everything to be transferred, so be patient.

Once you have this one running, let me know so I can keep an eye on your raw dumps on the website (no pun intended).

Due to the experimental nature of this feature, weird stuff can happen ©. ;-)

Like I said in the beginning, this is a test to see how I have to filter the data..for instance; your "The Evolution Engine" app has 2 different versions in the database and 2 different paths..so it shows up 4 times. It'll get better!

RE: WhatPulse 2.2b2
This application key count bug is still happening, and I think I've figured out why. I have multiple copies of an application named AutoUpdater, all with the same version number, as well as a different edition with a slightly different version number (each copy has a unique config file and is used to launch a different application). WhatPulse is merging them all into one in the table, which is probably why the summary below doesn't match. No matter how many times I click ignore, AutoUpdater still stays in the table. Also, it's not the only application that's a single line in the offline table but multiple lines when pulsed to the website. On the website I've even got 2 lines for Adobe Reader, both with the same version number.

When I was clicking around the above, eg. changing to 'yesterday' or clicking the left and right arrows to move back and forth between pages, I also got a couple of crashes (Windows XP, x86). The first crash gave me 2 error dialogs and an EventViewer log:
Code:
The instruction at “0x67dac056” referenced memory at “0x00000001”. The memory could not be “read”.
The instruction at “0x7c9108d3” referenced memory at “0xbffffffd”. The memory could not be “read”.

Faulting application whatpulse.exe, version 2.2.0.0, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.2600.5512, fault address 0x000372e3.

The second crash only gave an EventViewer log:
Code:
Faulting application whatpulse.exe, version 2.2.0.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0xffffffff.

Finally, when I got home to my Windows 7 machine, I found that WhatPulse had crashed in the morning and left this in EventViewer:
Code:
Faulting application name: whatpulse.exe, version: 2.2.0.0, time stamp: 0x51ddb4b6
Faulting module name: whatpulse.exe, version: 2.2.0.0, time stamp: 0x51ddb4b6
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00133223
Faulting process id: 0x42a8
Faulting application start time: 0x01ce7e139dcc460a
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\WhatPulse2\whatpulse.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\WhatPulse2\whatpulse.exe

I've also tried this because I can't get any more applications to show on the website for my Windows 7 computer ('Bloopy at home'). There's only 5 from the initial pulse using 2.2b1. Can you please observe my dumps too? Big Grin
