WhatPulse's first birthday

Posted on 7th February 2004, 04:34:57

WhatPulse was born on the 6th of February, we were hoping to do this post within the 6th boundry, but unfortunatly that didn't exactly happen. ;)

However, WhatPulse is going to start it's second year off with support for the Linux users, the Linux client has been released, and is available to download in the Downloads section!

Any bugs, comments, praises should be directed to fury at whatnet.org.

    Like the Readme says:

o If you are on an AMD Athlon machine, and possibly other AMD
variants, the program will not function if you have a PS/2 mouse.
You may fix this by installing a USB mouse, or getting a USB
adapter for your PS/2 mouse. This issue may be fixed in future
    releases.
    Sorry.

im not on a amd athlon machine. I have a PS/2 mouse but i am not gonna change it for a USB mouse for a program heh. Any ideas why im on a p3 800 for linux debian and it still says its uncompatible?

Grunger, it is quite possible that even though you are on an intel platform, the program might not like that you have a PS/2 mouse. I need to ammend that to "If you are on ANY system with a PS/2 mouse, it may not work." :)
