NB: Computer Locations were formally known as Pulse Profiles.

If you've downloaded WhatPulse, when you enter your login information, you'll also need to enter a 'Computer Location'.

A Computer Location allows you to install WhatPulse on multiple computers and be able to Pulse from each computer, whenever you like. You set up one Location per computer, and this helps avoid the old error messages of WhatPulse 1.4.7 and before. This doesn't mean that more than one person can use your account -- that rule still stands!

To set up a Computer Location, simply login to your User Control Panel on the WhatPulse website, and click the 'Computers' link. Type whatever you wish in the box and click 'Add New Computer'. This creates a Computer Location on the server, and allows you to login to WhatPulse on one computer. If you want to install WhatPulse on more computers, just repeat this step.

If you want to delete or rename a Computer Location, you are free to do so. The keys will still remain on your account, only the name of the Location will be removed/renamed. Before you remove or rename a Computer Location, remember to Pulse first, otherwise you will lose all keys, clicks and miles on the computer linked to that profile.

It is not possible to transfer your stats to one Location, or to transfer stats between Locations.
