Whatpulse Memory-Leak in Linux
Whatpulse 2.8.3 running on Ubuntu 18.04 and if I keep network stats enabled it will eventually cause a memory leak where whatpulse will use all available RAM and then some as it keeps growing. I would like to see this fixed as I use this computer to download stuff onto my shared network drive as well as chatting while in bed so having the network stats is something I want.

RE: Whatpulse Memory-Leak in Linux
I'll have to pull the latest WhatPulse binary and test for a while, but I have network stats enabled in version 2.8.2 on the same version of Ubuntu and it's using barely any memory (about 50 MB) after 17 days.

RE: Whatpulse Memory-Leak in Linux
Sub-second power outage rebooted my Linux system (it's just a workstation, not critical enough for battery backup) and I no longer have memory stats for the preceding 2-3 weeks. Bummer. If only you'd posted a day sooner, I would have just checked to see if I could confirm it.

Anecdotally, though, I don't think this has been an issue for me. I do usually keep a system monitor open, and check the process list when I see questionably high memory use, but whatpulse has never caught my eye there.
